At Droga5, much of my time was spent sitting in front of a computer, so I was itching to create something tactile, away from the screen. Pride Month provided the perfect creative inspiration.

One of the great things about working for a successful agency is that when you have a creative idea that isn’t wildly expensive and sends a positive message, they will probably give you the green light to make it. So, I designed a rainbow string installation that would send a soaring, beautiful message of love and inclusion in the heart of the agency, high above the central stairs.

I asked my talented friend and designer, Fabian Grateroles, to help me install the piece. Installation took about a day and almost 10,000 steps. The end result was a vibrant and subtle celebration of pride.
